Tuesday Bible Study

Wisdom

Do you wish you had more peace of mind? Could you use more wisdom in your decision-making? Do you ever wonder how to grow in wisdom?

Scripture and the Tradition of the Catholic Church provide an abundance of wisdom, though it can often be challenging to apply it to our lives. In this study, Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith examine biblical wisdom as it relates to daily life. In everything from friendships to finances, from making decisions to attaining peace of mind, Scripture offers a vision of happiness and well-being. With this program you will learn how to gather, gain, and grow in wisdom, and you will experience the joy it brings to your life.

St. Raphael-Holy Angels will be hosting Wisdom: God’s Vision for Life Bible Study. We will meet every Tuesday afternoon starting on October 1st through November 19th. This is an eight week course and the fee is $35.00. Classes meet from 12:00pm-1:30pm in the Spiritual Center. For more information or to register for the study, please call Midge or Gabriela at 609-585-0542 or e-mail at mcassarini@srhap.org

Wednesday Bible Study

First Corinthians

Have you ever felt daunted by the struggles within the Church, or had your faith shaken by the trials of your local parish community? Then join us for the First Corinthians: The Church and the Christian Community, a Bible study by Dr. Tim Gray.

In this study, we will learn about the early Christians in Corinth, and see how their struggles and challenges were not so different from our own. We will see how St. Paul addressed these struggles by introducing the Corinthians to God’s greatest gift: the Eucharist.

St. Raphael-Holy Angels will be hosting First Corinthians: The Church and the Christian Community Bible Study. We will meet every Wednesday evening starting on September 25th through December 11th. There will be no class on November 27th. This is a ten week course and the fee is $35.00. Classes meet from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the APR in the school. For more information or to register for the study, please call Midge or Gabriela at 609-585-0542 or e-mail at mcassarini@srhap.org.
