Baptism Preparation

Baptism Preparation Ministry

Coordinator: Linda Richardson

Infant baptism is a blessed time for the family. It is an opportunity for strengthening family life, learning more about the sacrament of baptism and understanding the role of the domestic church. The baptism preparation classes for parents and sponsors are designed to prepare for the initiation of their baby or young child into the Catholic Church. Hopefully, the experience of preparing for baptism and participating in the sacrament will help parents, sponsors and other family members to grow in their faith and to feel more at home in our parish community.

The baptism preparation team consists of Pastor, priests, deacons, rectory staff and a team that presents the baptism preparation classes.

The members of our parish’s baptism preparation team are: Linda and Mark Richardson, Kathy Stueber-Fillebrown and Guy Fillebrown, Deacon Greg Costa and Charlene Tharp.
