Adolescence can be a difficult time – the child is going through rapid physical changes as well as emotional ups and downs. Young people aren’t always sure where they fit, and they’re still trying to work it out.  Adolescence can also be a time when peer influences and relationships can cause the family  some stress.  Many teenagers live up to the stereotype of being rambunctious, immature, and rebellious.  And because of these, we sometimes fail to see them for who they are – human beings. The true nature of teenagers is not corrupt; their true natures are human, just like the rest of us. And they are in need of Christ’s love now more than ever. This young age is when the world begins to take a toll on them, when they begin to make choices for themselves, for better or for worse. It is our duty to be role models to these teens, to start them off on the right path as they enter the scary world of adulthood.

Often, the emptiness and sorrow in a teen’s life is a result of a lack of love, sense of purpose, and strong adult figures in their lives. What are we doing wrong, that we would cause teens everywhere to throw away their lives without ever knowing Christ? What are we doing to bring our teenagers closer to God?

SRHA Life Teen is a community of High School teens who are looking to grow in their faith lives.  It is a fun-filled, faith environment in which you might be challenged and dynamically engaged to go deeper in your relationship with God and with others.

Life Teen meets every Sunday after the 5:00 PM Life Teen Mass until 8:00 PM, and on Thursday evenings for Just For Fun at 5:30pm in the gym followed by Bible Study at 7:15 PM in the Living Room of The Spiritual Center.
